Looks like Sony is on the right side of media format for once. The last two major companies that were in support of the HD-DVD format are ending their contracts soon.
What does this mean for you? Hopefully that we will finally have a standard to go by for the next-gen media format.
HD-DVDs and their players were a little cheaper, but Blu-ray has it beat in most other ways.
